Gopher arrived from the town of Kenansville in Osceola County in 2015.  He had a fractured right elbow, fractured coracoid and luxated left shoulder. Burrowing Owls spend most of their time on the ground or in their burrows and can be found in open fields, such as golf courses, pastures, and empty lots.
