Jansy Alvarado

Community Conservation Fellow

Jansy is focused on connecting with the community, restoring the local fauna, and advocating for the environment through local outreach. She has led bird walks and multiple restoration events that have helped restore the connection between people and the land. 

Jansy is a South Central native that has always had a passion for advocating for the outdoors. Before joining 探花精选, Jansy went to UC Merced where she received her BS in Biology with an emphasis on Ecology and Evolution.  Here she was able to do research on flora and fauna that is specific to the Central Valley. In her free time, you can find her reading, catching up on her shows, and enjoying the outdoors.
