Katja Foreman-Braunschweig is the Communications Associate for ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ Great Lakes, where she supports communications efforts and develops high-quality content to raise awareness of conservation, advocacy, and engagement initiatives. Her work helps advance ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡â€™s mission to protect birds and the places they need across the Great Lakes region.

Previously, Foreman-Braunschweig served as a Communications Assistant at the University of Michigan College of Engineering and as an Intern with Keep Growing Detroit. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan, where she earned dual degrees in communications and environmental studies. While there, she supported the School for Environment and Sustainability and served as a Project Lead for Planet Blue Student Leaders, encouraging students to adopt sustainable practices.

Passionate about conservation, Foreman-Braunschweig is dedicated to uplifting this work through impactful storytelling.
