
Keilani Bonis-Ericksen
Keilani Bonis-Ericksen is a Geospatial Program Manager for 探花精选 California, where she leads geospatial projects that support conservation efforts across the state鈥檚 diverse landscapes, including the Coasts, Deserts, Central Valley, and Urban areas. She works with California programs, including the Working Lands, Conservation Ranching, Salton Sea, Coastal, as well as 探花精选 centers and sanctuaries, providing spatial analysis, mapping, data visualizations and products, and helping with community and stakeholder engagement at both local and statewide levels.
Keilani earned her M.S. in Conservation Biology and Environmental Science from the University of Hawaii, where her research focused on assessing 3D models of coral reefs in the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands. Before completing her master鈥檚, she worked as an environmental scientist for Marine Research Consultants and as a kayak and naturalist guide in Washington鈥檚 San Juan Islands.
Based in Santa Cruz, California, Keilani鈥檚 passion for conservation and the outdoors is rooted in her upbringing in Waimanalo, Hawaii. Outside of work, she enjoys beach volleyball, surfing, camping, and any outdoor adventure!
