Kim Brand is ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡â€™s first Managing Director for Community Building. Kim’s 17-year journey with ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ began as a volunteer for her local chapter, driven by a deep commitment to bringing people together to create meaningful impact. During her nine years with ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ in North Carolina, she held key roles including Bird-Friendly Communities Coordinator, Climate Field Organizer, and Engagement Director. For the past two years, Kim has led the Chapters Conservation Action team, further advancing ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡â€™s mission through strategic engagement and action. Kim holds a bachelor's degree in public relations from the University of Florida. She wrote a thesis on the Florida Scrub-Jay for her master's degree in zoology from the University of South Florida.
