Lauren started working for the ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ Center at the Riverlands in 2025 as the education and public programs coordinator. She got her BS from Arizona State University where she first fell in love with environmental education as she studied environmental science. She worked with the Arizona State Park system through college, which was her first introduction to Environmental Ed. She has continued down this path after graduating and has found her passion in educating the public about the wonders of this world in hopes of improving environmental stewardship. Lauren always felt a special love for the outdoors as she recalls stealing her parents point and shoot camera and taking it to the top of her playground set to take photos of the birds in the backyard and checking out every National Geographic Book the library had in stock. Today Lauren still enjoys wildlife photography, hiking, camping, and finds her peace outdoors.
