Senior Director, Wings Over Working Lands

Nat Miller leads 探花精选鈥檚 efforts to protect, manage, and restore North America's working lands. By focusing on direct habitat implementation, partnership building, and providing policy and science support, 探花精选鈥檚 Wings Over Working Lands initiative improves habitat conditions across agricultural, forestry, and other productive lands to drive outcomes outlined in 探花精选鈥檚 ambitious strategic plan, Flight Plan.

Miller joined 探花精选 in 2014 and previously served as 探花精选鈥檚 Senior Director of Conservation for the Great Lakes and Upper Mississippi River. During his tenure, he has designed ambitious conservation strategies that have protected and restored Great Lakes waters and thousands of acres of coastal habitats, supporting hundreds of migratory land and marsh bird species. Miller has also shaped priorities for the Upper Mississippi River, including expanding the 探花精选 Conservation Ranching program into the Midwest. He serves on Boards of the Upper Mississippi /Great Lakes Joint Venture and Macaw Recovery Network.

Before joining 探花精选, Miller was Assistant Director for the Dutch Caribbean Nature Alliance, working across six Caribbean islands to manage parks and establish protected area policies. Earlier, as Protected Areas Manager at Ya鈥檃xch茅 Conservation Trust in Southern Belize, he led a ranger team managing over 100,000 acres of rainforest and savanna.
